Traffic & prohibited activity

Eligible traffic

BidLayer separates raw requests from eligible, filtered, routed and monetized activity. Only traffic that passes applicable quality and eligibility checks can be routed to demand and considered for attributable monetization.

Not eligible

Known bots/crawlers, datacenter automation, malformed or headless automation, abnormal automated request velocity, obvious self-click activity, duplicate abuse, malicious proxy activity and deceptive or otherwise prohibited traffic are not eligible for monetization.

Risk handling

VPN usage is not automatically treated as fraud. Risk signals are evaluated in context; residential/mobile traffic, residential VPN use, datacenter/open proxies and obvious automation can carry different risk treatment.
